Carly and her family after losing baby boy

My name is Carly Steffen, and my family suffered a tragic loss on 06/18/22.  We are living out a parents absolute worst nightmare.

Around 9:30PM, I put my 3 month old baby boy down for bed and I went to sleep myself right after. About 2 hours later, I woke up to get some water and checked on Holden and he was cold, not breathing, and not moving at all. He had no pulse. I called 911 and they had me perform CPR on him until paramedics arrived and took over. He was rushed by ambulance to Salem Hospital where they were able to revive him and get his heart beating on its own but he was incapable of breathing on his own and still entirely unresponsive. From there, he was life-flighted to Doernbechers Children's Hospital at OHSU. They did everything they absolutely could to help him but unfortunately since he suffered from lack of oxygen for as long as he did, his brain suffered major injury and swelling which then led to his organs swelling, bleeding, and eventually completely shutting down. He passed away in my arms right after 11pm on Saturday 6/18/2022. 
The following day, Sunday 6/19/22, my ex-husband made an attempt on his own life being unable to cope with our loss and totaled our only vehicle into a power line and is hopefully going to be committed into an institution where he can seek help and therapy. 
I'm reaching out for donations for funeral services and also to help cover general expenses while I am out of work and to help with buying another vehicle to get my four-year-old son to school and run errands.
