Haiti Misson Trip

For those of you that don't know me, and those of you that do, I have spent a majority of the past year as a mentor at Shelterwood Academy, a thereputic boarding school for struggling teens. In the course of these months the growth that has taken place in the students, my coworkers, and myself is nothing short of God's grace.
In the past, Shelterwood has partnered with The Global Orphan Project to take students on a misson trip to Haiti to experience a way of life most have never encountered. Once more, an opportunity has arrived to take students on this grand adventure, and this time I have the pleasure of attending the trip with the students!
In June we will set out together to Port au Prince, Haiti where we will interact with local orphanages through crafts, games, singing, playing and simply engaging those we meet with love.
I am so blessed and excited to have this opportunity before me to not only experience all the wonders God might have in store for Haiti, but to do so along side my Shelterwood students, coworkers, and family.
