Carmarthen Pet Food Bank

My name is Michelle and I am the Practice Director at Carmarthen Veterinary Centre.

6 month ago one of my nurses Claire approached me and asked if she could set up a pet food bank to help the local community feed their pets, the aim was to keep families and their pets together through the cost of living crisis.

Claire then recruited other members of our team to help her , Jules and Rose, all of these ladies give up their own time to run this service .

Back in July 23 we had one person visit us skip to December 23 and we have helped over 40 people this month with multiple pets.

So to keep this going we need some help .

Donations of food can be dropped at Carmarthen Veterinary Centre or Towy Vets , alternatively you can make a monetary donation and we will purchase the food which is given out in the first Wednesday of every month .
