Honoring the Memory of Carmelita Penoliar: A cherished friend, respected teacher, devoted sister, nurturing grandmother, beloved auntie, and, above all, a loving mother. 

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted individuals, In 2019, Carmelita developed dementia, which later progressed into Alzheimer's disease. In 2022, she suffered a stroke, resulting in a fall that led to a brain bleed. By 2023, she was completely bed-bound and aphasic, unable to communicate verbally, and reliant on others for her care. On May 6th, 2024, our beloved Carmelita Penoliar departed from this world, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and memories. 

As we gather to bid farewell to our dear Carmelita, we are met with the harsh reality of financial strain. The cost of arranging a proper viewing to honor her memory amounts to $6k. We would like to humbly reach out to our extended family, friends, and compassionate souls, to help us in our endeavor to give Carmelita the farewell she deserves.
