Help Carmen cover medical expenses.

During her routine pregnancy exam, Carmen’s doctor noticed something strange and sent for a biopsy. After welcoming the new addition to the family, Carmen was officially diagnosed with Cervical Cancer. Instead of just welcoming her newborn and basking in happiness with her family, she now has to prepare for and face this difficult challenge.

We all know cancer is one of the most costly diseases to treat; physically, emotionally, and financially. Carmen will face major financial challenges and we hope to help her deal with the costs. Carmen and Miguel are taking time off work for her upcoming surgery and recovery, not to mention any extra unforeseen treatments.

This would all be hard at anytime, add to it a newborn and the want any mother has to make sure her family has a wonderful Christmas time. We are setting this GoFundMe so Carmen and Miguel can focus on what is important right now which is getting her healthy so she can spend many, many wonderful years with her family.

Carmen has touched the hearts of many, especially through her diligent care of the children she has helped teach in the Montessori community. She is a doting mother and we hope we can help her now in her time of need.
