Carmen Geisel

My beautiful wife, Carmen Geisel, passed away yesterday, October 9, 2022, at 23 years old, in Portola, California while visiting her family with our daughter. Carmen went to sleep and did not wake up. Like so many during this time, I am devastated and completely shocked. I never thought I would lose the love of my life, my everything, the woman I lived and breathed for, and the mother of our beautiful 2-year-old daughter Zoey. I had no idea I wouldn’t get the chance to grow old with her and raise our daughter as we planned.

But here we are. I don’t want to believe that Carmen is gone, but she is, and I cannot fully comprehend the magnitude of the situation.

Carmen had a massive heart with a sweet soul. She lived to care for our daughter every day as a full-time parent and even worked nights part-time at 7-eleven.

I am writing to you all, friends and family, to ask for financial help during these difficult times. As you can imagine, it will be very taxing financially and mentally. I need help with Carmen’s cremation arrangements and Zoey’s child care (a few weeks), and I will be off from work for a few weeks to mourn and care for our daughter until childcare is set up. My world has been crushed, and I am doing my best to stay strong for my daughter because I’m all she has now.
