Support Carmen’s Recovery

We are starting this fundraiser on behalf of our dear family friend, Carmen, who suffered an accident earlier this year, ultimately resulting in a below the knee amputation.

She has a long road to recovery ahead of her and we are hoping to raise funds to help with medical expenses (e.g. getting a prosthetic, physical therapy, and ongoing medical support, etc.) as well as finding a new home that is more accessible.

Carmen joined our family almost three years ago, as a nanny to our then infant son. She has been such an integral part our family, loving us (& our kids) as if we were her own— and we absolutely adore her.

Carmen has been a nanny for over 30 years and has made such a positive and lasting impact on so many families and children.

Her life is forever changed as a result of this accident but we know that her resilience, faith & determination will carry her through. We hope this fundraiser will help alleviate the financial burden so that she can focus on her physical and mental recovery.
