Greene Family Medical Fund

The Greene family are facing an unbelievable hardship right now due to unforseen medical issues. Last week Carmen had a small cyst removed from her forhead. 24 hours after the cyst was removed she was admitted into the ICU with massive swelling and infection. Due to the infection, which was very close to her eyes, she had to have surgery to reduce swelling and remove the infected areas. The infection has been determined to be Necrotizing Fasciitis - a flesh eating bacteria. If the affected skins cells are not removed immediately they can cause irreversible damage to the limb or infected area.

Carmen is still in the hospital and will be for at least a month! Her husband Jeremy contracted the infection by taking care of his wife and will be in the hospital for at least one week. During this time their two young children will be staying with friends. Carmen will also be undergoing some massive reconstruction surgeries. She will be out of work during her recovery. 

We would like to be able to help them out financially to get through this difficult time. The money will help offset the addional cost of childcare during Carmen's hospital stay as well as provide them with a small income for additional medical expenses. The money would be helpful to fly Carmen's family out to assist Carmen and Jeremy with the children. Please give from your heart - they are truly deserving!
