Hopera CARMENcita Production Equipment & Costs

Hopera’s mission is to produce live musical performances in unique Houston Area spaces that focus on and empower Houston Area artists. Our Pint-Sized Performances concert series empowers local musicians to create original programs that are presented for free to the community and performed in local small businesses in the craft beverage industry. We plan to produce one to two ticketed operas a year that present accessible English-language operas that are movie theater length for movie theater prices.

All proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards performing equipment, production costs, and related expenses for Hopera’s mainstage productions, including the upcoming performances of CARMENcita. The performers are generously underwritten in part by the City of Houston through Houston Arts Alliance.
