Carmine Gennarelli's Family

As many of you know, our dad Carmine Gennarelli was born with a congenital heart defect called Tetralogy of Fallot. During his life, he suffered from congestive heart failure and kidney failure. He was a trooper having received a pacemaker and pulmonary valve replacement extending his life by four and a half years. In those years, he lived life to the fullest alongside our mom.

In the past couple of months, he was frequently in and out of hospitals because his medications were no longer sustaining him and his health declined. On February 26 at 4:38 AM, he took his last breath peacefully surrounded by his loving family.

We are writing you today as we have started receiving hospital bills. We have thought hard about this decision and put all pride aside. It is going to be a long journey ahead, emotionally and financially. If you can find it in your heart to assist us during this difficult time, we are forever grateful. No amount is too small.
