Help my sister's family- Magoffin house fire

October 14th 2023 An amazing family lost EVERYTHING do to an electrical fire in the wall of their home.

For those who know this family you know that...

1. They will and do help everyone that needs it

2. They have been through a lot before this

3. Carol is an amazing single mother to 4 children

4. Carol volunteers coaching kids even though she already has a full plate

5. She went to college full time during COVID while homeschooling the kids to become a respiratory therapist

6. Carol is a strong believer in God and her favorite saying is "Let go and let God"

For those who don't know this family.

If you have ever been stuck on the side of the road and they pass you you will not being there long or alone. They are known for not just passing anyone by.

Wether it's a fellow mama from MOPS that needs a tire change, a stranger who needs kids clothes or a way-word stranger that is looking for a meal. They will be there.

Carol also takes care of our father's medical needs as he has end stage renal disease.

Carol is a registered respiratory therapist, whom loves to help others.

She is also one of the best single mothers I have ever met.

Kids are ages 16, 14 [turning 15 in a few days] and twins that are 7.

She still homeschools the older children on top of everything else that she does.

Her oldest had her cat- her best friend, since she was an infant. Unfortunately the cat Didi, did not make it. Neither did the youngest 50+ fish. As the apartment got too hot during the fire for them to survive.

As of right now she is still processing this horrific ordeal and will reach out at a later date with a list of needs.

As everything is probably a total loss.

With except of Carol's graduation picture above. God placed them away from home during the time this happened.
