Carol Donia Echalas

While traveling in the Philippines on her last day there, my aunt Carol unexpectedly experienced multiple and ongoing seizures which led her to be intubated upon admission and is currently fighting for her life on a ventilator in the ICU. Doctors have not yet been able to wean off the ventilator.

They have been running tests to find the cause of her Viral Encephalitis and presumed Meningitis (Inflammation and swelling of the brain) but with every test and medication given in the PI, doctors want you to have to pay up front costs which even led to them stopping administering medications once bills have reached the max.

It’s devastating enough for this to happen overseas where medical attention may not be available and resourceful as the U.S. as she’s out in the province and not in a major city. We ask that you please donate and share.

Carol is a mother of 3 and grandmother to 2 young boys. My cousins are already experiencing financial distress and we haven’t even reached 1 full week yet. We’ll need your help in donations, sharing this link and prayers for her recovery. We will need to fight and who knows for how long, as we can only take it a day at a time depending on results and care available. Please find it in your hearts help to save her.

We will keep updates here on her condition and our hope is for her to get well enough and return back to Seattle and reunited with her kids Rowell, Marc, and Chanel god willing.
