With much hesitation and per the request of many generous supporters, we have decided to set up this Go Fund Me in the hopes that we can help Carol with the costs that are associated with her medical conditions. The most major of those being Diabetes and Diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis (DISH). DISH is a systemic condition characterized by characteristic ossification patterns that can occur in the spine and peripheral entheses.

Those costs include but are not limited to medical bills that will not be covered by her current Medicare plan and any costs associated with her treatment.

I just want to express my sincere appreciation for those who have provided support to Carol so far in this journey. It is clear that Carol has touched many lives and it is such a compliment to her that so many are willing and wanting to help. If it's at all possible to give some assistance financially, I truly believe it would relieve a lot of the stress as she continues to heal and recover.
