Carol Rivera-Salsa Rivera Studio

This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do in my entire life. My name is Carol Rivera and I am a salsa teacher and I hold classes at the Gulfport Casino Ballroom on Thursday nights when it is usually open. My last workshop was Thursday, March 5th and the Casino has a tentative date of reopening which is August. I also teach private lessons at my Salsa Rivera Studio, which ended on March 10th.  Since March my income has come to a halt, my savings don’t exist anymore, and I’m on the verge of losing my home where my studio is located. In the past I have faced similar situations which lead to filing for bankruptcy and apply for a mortgage modification which destroyed my credit. I’ve re-established my credit and now this. I have tried all kinds of programs, services and PPP, unfortunately I fall through the cracks as many others. I have pulled all the tricks out of my hat, unfortunately there’s nothing left in the hat to pull and I’ve come up extremely short. So now I have come to the point of asking for help. I feel so humbled and so weak at this moment. I can honestly say in my entire life I never asked for help because my pride and sense of responsible has kept me strong up until now.  Anything that you can provide will be a God sent blessing.
