Carol Sander’s Breast Cancer Fund

A message from the family:

As some of you may know, mom/Carol was diagnosed with Triple Positive Invasive Ductal Carcinoma with some DCIS (Stage 2b breast cancer) on January 5, 2022.

Being triple positive, it is hormone fed and her Ki-67 is very aggressive at 80%, whereas a good percentage is anything below 10%. Just shy of a month from her diagnosis, she began chemo on February 8, 2022. A total of (6) chemo sessions at 3 week intervals. So far, she is responding well to the chemo. There are 2 chemo treatments left and then immunotherapy infusions every 3 weeks until February 2023. She will also have surgery and radiation over the Summer & Fall of 2022.

With everything going on, unfortunately, her main source of transportation has been broken down since March, as the transmission went out. Not only that, but mom has also had to take time away from her only sources of income, her soap business and the farm (goats).

She’s has always been the most giving person. She has always given to others without a second thought. She is the kind of person that is always there for everyone, and she never wants to be a burden to others. She lights up every room she goes into. She means so much to so many people. To know Carol, is to know strength, true love, and kindness.

This page was created in hopes of removing any financial stress or burden from her and her family, as she continues to fight this horrible disease. Any effort, whether volunteering your time to share this page, prayers, or even sending a donation is appreciated more than you will ever know. Please continue to pray for Carol, her husband, and her children. Pray for her doctor’s. Pray for comfort and peace. Pray for complete healing.
