Carol Shade Funeral Cost for family aid
Donation protected
The aim of this page is to help Rob Shade, managing director of Aspire Wrestling Alliance and his family in their time of need.
Last November Carol Ann Shade lost her battle with cancer after 16 years fighting.
Her funeral took place late November and was a beautiful farewell to a person who was more than an amazing friend, mother and wife.
She was cremated at the wishes of her family, but in recent times her family have came across financial issues paying for the funerals, due to a mix up with benefits. Rob Shade (Carol Shades husband) is in a situation having to pay for the full funeral after promises were made to him by the benefits agency that he will be covered by the low income funeral grant. This also means Carol's ashes are being kept in the parlour until payment has gone through.
Rob has also in recent time received a legal proceedings letters by the courts to pay for the funeral.
Rob, who is now a single father to 2 children has been living very tight since the creation of Aspire Wrestling Alliance Ltd which he is a managing director of.
Aspire Wrestling Alliance is an not for profit organisation which was set up with the goal of helping those in need, in situations such as mental health issues and financial crisis.
Thanks to Rob, along with a passionate team's hard work, sacrifice and vision to help the Community, Aspire Wrestling Alliance is now 3 years old, helping those by using wrestling and a food bank that is used multiple times a week among other services set up by Rob and the team.
Although Rob is a manager he is on a very low and basic income, and once commuting costs are taken into account, his weekly wage is less than 3 figures.
Many people, myself included, have been helped by Rob with his kindness and overall selflessness sometimes staying up to the early hours of the morning talking to those in need.
Rob and his family want to have their kind mother and wife ashes home so they can finally have closure and have one final good bye.
In all my years of knowing Rob he has never asked for anything and always tries to help himself to aviod asking others. Sadly Rob can not afford to pay for the funeral to retrieve his wife's ashes which is affecting him and his family massively.
If you would kindly like to donate anything you donate will help massively.
Carol was an incredible and inspirational person who deserves to be brought home so her soul can finally rest with her loving husband and sons.
Thank you.
