Carole Pope Recovery Fund

Dear Friends and Fans of the Anti-Diva herself,
Carole has entertained us for decades as a solo performer, a member of Rough Trade, a writer, an activist and all-around role model, but now she needs OUR support. Carole began having mobility problems on her last tour, eventually forcing her to stop performing last summer so she could undergo very delicate Spinal Stenosis Surgery. While the surgery was a success, Carole has had to undergo months of expensive and rigorous physical therapy and has therefore been unable to work or even be very mobile since the operation. She still needs to continue with therapy for another 4-6 months to allow for a full recovery before she’s able to work again to support herself.
Mounting medical bills and living expenses have drained her financial resources and we estimate she’ll need to make up a deficit of about $10,000 to make it though the next few months.
If, like me, you’ve been a fan of Carole’s through the many twists and turns of her fascinating and at times shocking career, please help me in donating funds to help her bridge the gap until she can start performing for us all again. Birds of a feather still flock together.
