Escaramuza Carolina Magallanes Fundraiser

For those of us who love being in the equestrian/charreria world knows it comes with a lot of responsibility's. Countless hours of training with your team and on your own. As we try to bring in new young horses into this sport we understand our risks are higher but its a risk we are willing to take.

 

On Wednesday September 8th, as we are getting ready to practice for our up coming event, our teammate Carolina Magallanes suffered a tragic accident with her horse. The young horse she was on reared up causing both of them to fall backwards. Carolina broke 2 ribs, fractures her scapula and had a deep laceration on her calf and had multiple cuts on her head from the impact.Paramedics were called and they took her immediately. She later informed us she would be having surgery on her calf to close her wound. While doctors are keeping a close eye on her for any possible infections her medical bills are starting to pile up. Thankfully she is at home now but she awaits a long recovery.

 

Given the magnitude of what she is facing, we are asking for your support. Your contributions will cover her medical expenses and anyother upcoming hardship she will face.
