Caroline Mast Cell Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment

Hi, my name is Kelsey Conlin and I'm in need of help for my baby Caroline. I'm a certified surgical technologist in DFW metroplex and my job is to save lives as a first responder. However, now I'm in need of help from pet owners that understand that our pets mean the world to us by giving us love. Caroline is a 10-year-old Maltipoo and she means the world to me since my grandfather's passing in 2013. She's considered to be my emotional support pet whenever I undergo stress and ensures I don't have panic attacks. Back in early November we notice a spot on her abdomen which we thought was a cyst, but vet believed it wasn't based on how hard it was. Surgery was performed to remove it and pathology discovered it was an aggressive form of Mast Cell Tumor. Today 12/12/2023 we were referred to an oncologist doctor and she recommended for us to do diagnostic tests next Monday to see where Caroline's status is? The cost is outrageous, but my mother believes it's the right choice since she helps me with my stress. Diagnostic testing will cost $2,082 up front and then treatment we won't know till the results come back...could be chemo, radiation, or palliative care. I'm praying in yall's heart to donate even the smallest amount to help my baby girl to get what's best for her and the amount of time she has with me. Please and Thank You.
