Carol's Farewell Flowers Fund

To celebrate the life, love, and floral friendships of Carol Madison Sherwood, her family has created Carol's Farewell Flowers to fund future floral gifts to her communities at Mallard Landing and Lakeside Assisted Living.

To family and community, Carol was known as The Flower Lady. Starting in the Rules Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives, she shared her vibrant arrangements featuring flowers she grew with her beloved husband Bill. When they retired to Salisbury, she continued her love for flower gardening and arranging, joining the Town and Country Garden Club and hosting its House and Garden Tour. After Bill passed, Carol was active at Mallard Landing, where she served on the HOA Board, as Secretary, and as host of monthly pot luck dinners.

For nearly 20 years, Carol created fresh flower arrangements for the lobbies at Mallard Landing and Lakeside Assisted Living. Your gift will keep Carol's spirit blooming among the friends and neighbors with whom she shared her love for flowers. We will use all funds to continue delivering floral arrangements in celebration of The Flower Lady.
