Carol's Stroke - Bills, Rent, and Necessities

My name is Steve. On February 17, 2022, my wife, Carol, suffered a severe stroke. Since she fell ill, Carol has been unable to work. We have no savings, and to make things worse, I have had to take a lot of unpaid time off because she needs 24/7 care and supervision while she recovers.

We have applied for short-term disability for her, but nothing has come of it. As a result of the lost income, we are in a tight bind financially and expect to be so for several months. We have tried cutting corners and only focusing on necessities, but rent and car payments and even groceries and bills are becoming almost impossible to pay for. We need help to pay for these needs.

Carol's recovery depends on a stable home environment, and I want nothing more than to provide that for her. She is the most important person in the world to me. I only ask that people give what they can to help us make it through this time. Thank you.
