Carol's Healing Fund

My mom, Carol, has been fighting a tough battle on numerous fronts!She was laid off from her job in December 2015, diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer in Jan 2016, had surgery in February then immediately started chemo treatment. She transitioned immediately into radiation treatments and will complete that on September 13!
Since December of last year, she has applied for almost 100 jobs with only 2 interviews. Losing her hair & the physical toll of the treatment has been discouraging to her in her job hunt. Her unemployment benefits have run out & she is now facing having to sell the first home she was ever able to buy as well as her car since she has cashed in her 401k and that money will run out soon as well.
Her milestone 60th birthday is September 22nd and we are hopeful to raise enough money to keep her in her home through the Christmas holidays & new year to give her on her birthday.
We are very grateful she has no active cancer detected right now & pray this treatment is the one and only round she ever has to endure. She has fought through the lowest lows, two hospital stays & a lot of pain & discomfort. She is tough, fierce & determined, but we need help!!
