Carolyn "Bug" Smith Memorial

My name is Kim “Punkin” Hayes, and I have devoted my life to family, friends, being a nurse and being a member of the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association (CVMA) Auxiliary. Currently, I am the Executive Officer for the CVMA Aux 23-11 Chapter in North Texas. On Friday, June 16th at about 0840, we lost a sister in our auxiliary, Carolyn “Bug” Smith.

Carolyn and her family lost the cornerstone of their family, in March of 2021, Larry “Godfather” Smith from cancer. Carolyn continued to be strong, courageous and loving. She continued to be a solid member of our auxiliary. She always came to chapter events, and was the epitome of a “sister”. Bug’s heart and soul were beautiful and kind. She always had an amazing smile on her face. Carolyn loved strong. She loved Larry, her family, motorcycle rides with Larry, her puppy – Tia Rose, her friends, and the CVMA. She also loved a good Bloody Mary with extra olives.

Carolyn and her husband, Larry, touched many lives in the CVMA and motorcycle community. They were loved by all. If you want to help out the family, we opened this account to help bridge the gap. Our mutual goal is to ease the family burden during this trying time and also to help the family set up a beautiful memorial service worthy of this amazing woman.
