Carolyn Sikora Gerken

Carolyn Sikora Gerken passed away on March 19th at the age of 59 at HCA Kingwood Hospital. Loved ones and prayers surrounded her before God took her home. She suffered from liver failure for about three years, which ultimately resulted in heart,kidney, and lung failure as well. Carolyn never seemed to show that she was in pain to keep a smile on others around her. She was known for wearing her BRIGHT colors, sparkles, and bling, which the family requested guests wear in honor of her. She was also known for always having her 80s hair style. She would always show the hairstylist a picture of Farrah Fawcett to inspire how she wanted to look. Carolyn always wanted to throw parties at her house and cooked more than enough food for everybody. If any knew her, she also loved thrift store shopping, especially at Goodwill! She loved to dance to country music in the kitchen while cooking and teaching others how to do line dances. I know she is teaching God Cooperhead road right now and not letting him stop until he gets it down. This donation will help out with funeral and medical expenses, and the family would greatly appreciate anything. Thank you very much, and God bless!
