Hello, my name is Ryan Butler and I'm fundraising for my mom, Carolyn Stout. For over a year now, she's been battling breast cancer. She has gone through a lot... Chemo, radiation, physical therapy, and multiple surgeries. Even when the doctors believed they had gotten it all, cancer just grew back and more fierce. Here is one of my mom's last posts on Facebook:

Monday, August 15th, 2022

"My breast cancer has metastasized to my lungs, brain, and abdominal lymph nodes. Had a scare on Wednesday night. My oxygen level was 81. They removed 2 liters of fluids from my lungs. Doctors gave me a life expectancy of 1 week to a few weeks. I am resting comfortably at home under the care of hospice. Please keep my family in your prayers."
