Transform Grief into Goodness: Carolyn Weatherman Memorial

After five courageous yet difficult years, my mother, Carolyn Weatherman, has lost her battle with cancer leaving us to navigate the depth of such a tremendous loss. Losing a loved one is incredibly challenging experience and the pain is indescribable.

Although I will always miss my mother, I decided I wanted to transform my grief into goodness. With the help of my daughter, Rachel, we seek to embark on one final act of kindness in her name.

Carol found solace in animals during her sickness and joy in their companionship. It is fitting then to honor her memory with a gesture that would bring comfort to her.

In lieu of flowers, we invite you to join us in honoring, Carolyn Weatherman, by supporting Pets and People Human Society. Together we can continue her legacy by providing care, shelter and love to homeless animals in need. Pets and People is a voluntary based organization the focuses on rescuing animals from kill shelters where animals are put to death simply for the lack of space. These animals are provided with preventive medication, vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and sheltered until they can be adopted into a forever home.
