Carriär needs his teeth pulled

Hi there, our boy Carriär (care bear) is in need of having ALL 12 of his incisors pulled. He came into our live about 2 1/2 years ago and we loved him from the minute we met him! He was definitely the missing piece of our family. Shortly after getting him I had our equine dentist do his routine dental care and to our surprise the dentist was floored (stating his teeth were some of the worst teeth he had seen). He did his best to help Care Bear out but it has come to the point now where he can no longer work on the problem. His teeth are all infected and in great risk of fracturing. There is NO DOUBT he has been in pain for many years but Carriär shows no ill temper or bad behavior. The dentist believes he has learned to live with the pain (which breaks my heart). He is truly the sweetest, most kindhearted horse in the world and we strive to give him nothing but the best and the most love possible!! We will be taking him to UC Davis in the next month or two to have this procedure done and to finally relieve this big guy of his pain. Anything helps us get him pain free sooner!!
