Brevard County Fire Rescue Dispatch lost one of their own Friday, July 21, 2023. Carrie A. Dehler was an employee for 23 years and worked countless hours to serve her community, help her fellow dispatchers, and made sure her field personnel made it back to their station safely. Carrie was the heart and soul of dispatch. She was the glue that kept the shifts running. She was ALWAYS volunteering her time to help save others and to keep the Communication Center operational. Carrie always cheered up the room, earning the nickname "GIGGLES". We are asking for any help possible so that her 2 children can take care of funeral expenses.
