Hello my name is Jaime Johnson. I lost my mother unexpectedly. Though she had insurance for whatever reason they’re only paying out $500 dollars. I’m recently unemployed due to a disability and I have been struggling to make ends meet. As a single mother with an autistic child I do not have the money to afford a burial service. I have tried to get help from the state but they said I have to pay for the services first and will be reimbursed after.

My two sisters and I have put together what little we have but we’re not even close to what the arrangements will cost. Because of the nature of her death we also have to pay for other services to make sure that her body is treated properly.

I understand that everyone is going through something and we all are having difficulties in our lives. If you can’t donate please share. The state is willing to hold on to her body until January 12, 2023 when we have to make sure that the arrangements are made. We haven’t made arrangements as yet the date of January 12 is when the state will release her remains.

Please be respectful of our situation. We thought we did all the right things by making sure that her insurance was paid monthly. We have nothing else to put together and embarrassed that we have to ask for help but we don’t know what else to do.
