Help Carrier Park Go The Distance...

Tax deductible
Help Carrier Park, home of Syracuse Challenger Baseball, build an all-turfed “Superfield” in support of special needs athletes across the East Coast.

Syracuse Challenger Baseball is the oldest and largest baseball league for adults and children with disabilities in the world. Syracuse Challenger Baseball features children and adults with intellectual & developmental disabilities (IDD) such as Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Asperger's, and Down's Syndrome, neurologically impaired and medically fragile children with Cerebral Palsy and Muscular Dystrophy, and children with hearing, visual, learning, and emotional impairments. Since 2016, through grants, funding, fate and a miraculous partnership with the Town of Dewitt, challenger players from across Central New York have had the opportunity to play at the all-accessible, all-inclusive Carrier Park ‘Field of Dreams’ sports complex in Dewitt, New York. Watching a Syracuse Challenger Baseball game is a magical experience where the joy of being part of a team fills the air. This year Syracuse Challenger Baseball has even been selected to play in the televised Challenger Little League World Series exhibition game on August 26th in Williamsport, PA, with practices taking place leading up to the series at Carrier Park.

On June 6th, during the opening day ceremonies, Carrier Park will announce their new goal to raise enough funds to construct a multimillion dollar all-turfed “Superfield'' featuring two jumbo “Dreamtron” scoreboards. The completion of the Carrier Park “Superfield” would not only allow all 230 Challenger players and their teams to play at one fully integrated site for the first time, but in addition, the “Superfield” would enable Carrier Park to host a number of huge baseball, softball, and other tournaments that would draw thousands of able bodied and special needs athletes from the entire State of New York, the east coast of the United States and Canada. Carrier Park has over 30 nearby accessible and ADHD compliant hotel and lodging partners.

Please donate to help Carrier Park go the distance to make the Superfield a reality and continue to share in the magic of being a part of a team.
