Carrie’s Medical Hardship Fundraiser

Hello everyone and thank you for joining this GoFundMe that has a very personal connection to my life as I know it does for a lot of people in the community.

This fundraiser is for my mom Carrie to help with her medical bills and other financial hardships. As you may or may not have heard, my mom went through a series of emergency surgeries due to internal bleeding that almost cost her life.

She is currently out of the hospital and recovering at home but is currently struggling with the cost of her overwhelming medical bills and is unable to meet her other financial obligations from being off work since May. She is likely to be off work for an additional month while she recovers and can really use any help she can get.

Friends and Family, I ask that you give what you can to my mom who’s silently struggling right now. She is the most generous and kind person I know, willing to go out of her way for others. I can’t tell you how many stories I’ve heard about how my mom brightens peoples days as they interact with her in and outside of Meijer.

We are shooting for a goal of $10,000 which would cover the majority of her medical bills as well as provide her with enough money to catch up on late bills and cover the month she is recovering. The weight of overdue bills and medical debt are keeping her from focusing on getting better and any help would be greatly appreciated.
