Carrie's Mobile Plumbing Shop Recovery Fund

On Friday, February 24th at 1:45 pm, Carrie’s family-owned and operated, custom-built mobile plumbing shop/truck was stolen. All the memories, mementos and plumbing tools; inherited from her father and accumulated over her career; gone.

The intention of this gofundme, is to bring our community together to bless Carrie with resources so she can continue to live, work and begin to rebuild her business. This loss encompasses so many layers of grief because of all that it represents.

In Carrie’s words:

"My plumbing career started when I was 16 yrs old. My father, a master plumber, hired me full-time at our family business. When I was 20 years old, I completed my apprenticeship and my father made me his business partner.

My father taught me the art of craftsmanship and integrity. I have spent most of my career working alongside my father. For 23 years we've specialized in residential plumbing services. We brought a different level of caring into the business. Our customers became family. We became the neighborhood plumber.

My Plumbing truck was the accumulation of my 23-year career. We built a mobile shop. The truck had everything for service, replacement, and new installation. Working out of it was an experience. It was thought out, crafted and unlike any other truck. The guys were always impressed at how organized it was. And the history! So many family members worked with me. The sentimental value alone is priceless. This loss is tremendous. It’s having something stolen from your family that you can’t get back. My father’s jacket still hung in the truck although he hasn’t been there for years. Pictures of my family hung on the cabinets. The tools my father gave me are gone. It all mattered.”

Carrie is a kind, loving and compassionate woman. She inspires and uplifts others and is always there with ready hands and an open heart. All love, positive energy, prayers and donations are welcomed and invited.
