Carrigtwohill GAA 5km for Mental Health Support
Donation protected
Carrigtwohill GAA and community are supporting the Carrigtwohill Family Resource Centre ("FRC"), Mental Health Project.
The project supports our local FRC in promoting best practice in relation to the promotion of positive mental health.
The project strives towards utilising the strengths and resilience of communities to create awareness, educate, break down barriers, and offer solutions to the complex issue, which is mental health.
Players and supporters of both Adult and Juvenile teams in addition to supporters of the FRC and the wider community, will be running or walking 5km, donating €5 and nominating a further 5 people to complete.
All donations will be made via the GoFundMe link provided on the various Carrigtwohill GAA and FRC social media platforms.
Keep the eye out for videos and pictures of their progress throughout the coming days as they do their bit to help raise awareness for this much needed service in our community in these unprecedented times.
More information on the service is available at: https://www.facebook.com/carrigtwohillfrc/?ref=page_internal
