Carry On Jason Carryl’s Legacy: Support for His Family

I’m Lara Conner, sister to Karen Carryl. As many of you know, on March 20th, my brother-in-law, Jason Carryl—a devoted husband and father of five—tragically passed away while out for a run. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 13 years, Karen, and their young children: Nora, Ada, Laurel, James, and George.

Jason took his role as a provider seriously. He planned ahead to ensure his family would be cared for if the unimaginable happened. Thanks to his foresight, Karen is not without a foundation. Yet, no amount of planning can fully prepare a young mother to raise five children alone after such a sudden and heartbreaking loss.
