Carson’s Cancer Treatments in Germany

Donation protected
Hello Everyone, my boyfriend Carson Rutledge was diagnosed in February 2023 with Glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. Since, he has undergone 2 surgical resections, chemo, and radiation. After many efforts for a domestic trial and coming up empty his team of doctors at Duke have referred him for a course of vaccinations that will be administered over the next year in Germany. These vaccinations have been tailored to his specific tumor and took many months to be created. With this treatment being out of the country unfortunately, nothing is covered my insurance. Carson will travel to and from Germany once a month for the next year to receive these vaccines. The strain of travel and out of pocket expenses will be a great deal. Carson keeps the upmost hope along with myself, his family and friends and we truly feel going to Germany will aid in his full recovery as he continues to fight this battle. He’s the strongest man I know and we believe this treatment will only make him stronger. We would love your support in helping him with his many journeys to and from Germany and in hopes of being another exemplar of the power of this treatment that can save lives and help drive utilization in the states for the years to come.

We thank you for your support thus far on his long journey and ask for your continued prayers. God Bless!
