Carson's fundraiser run for ALS Society of Canada
Hi Everyone,
Thank you for considering to support my Go Fund Me. The charity I would like to see the proceeds go to Is ALS Society of Canada. ALS stands for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. It's a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, leading to loss of muscle control and eventually paralysis. My Grandma suffered from this disease, and ultimately died from it.
She dedicated her life to helping people as a nurse, and brightened every room she was in.
Im a student in highschool, and my plan is to run to London Ontario from Windsor City Hall, nearly 200km away, In order to raise money for the charity. I am planning on doing this the week of August 18th. Any buisnesses or establishments that donate a sum of money, will have their logo screen-printed on the shirt i will be wearing for the duration of the run.
This cause is close to my heart, and any donations no matter how small help.
