Hello, my name is Caroline. I am writing on behalf of my beautiful friend, Lauren and her husband Casey. Last night, their sweet boy was unexpectedly taken to Heaven.

Carter was born with a very rare disorder, called GRIN1. Little was known when Carter got that diagnosis but Lauren dedicated her life to learning all she could to help her little boy and others who share this debilitating disorder. She has been a fierce advocate for years and now it’s time, we come together and help them in their time of need.

We have all watched CarterMan grow, along with the ups and downs that come with a GRIN disorder. His mischievous smile will be missed by so many.
