Carter & Kinsey Brackman

For those of you that know Carter Brackman, you know that he is a strong, loving and fiercely loyal husband, father and friend. Over the past several months Carter noticed that his vision was rapidly deteriorating which prompted an initial visit to an eye doctor and eventually to a neurosurgeon. After a number of MRI's it was concluded that there was a tumor present in his brain that was not only causing the vision loss, but also other medical conditions that needed to be addressed. He recently underwent a biopsy on the tumor and it was discovered that there are germinoma tumors attached to his optic nerve causing the sight loss. They are awaiting the results of the pathology report from the biopsy, but at this time the treatment looks to be a combination of radiation and chemotherapy. They have spent the last few weeks at the University of Virginia Medical Center so both Carter and Kinsey are anxious to get home and begin treatment.

Through their positive attitudes and resiliency, Carter and Kinsey have been walking testimonies of God's faithfulness and they are facing this journey no differently. This fundraiser is being set up to help with any unforeseen expenses that they may face as they continue on the path ahead. They have reiterated that their hope is not in treatments or medicine, but rather in the ONE who holds their future in His hands.
