Carter Munson and Family
Donation protected
Carter has been a fighter since day one and now he faces another challenge, heart transplant surgery.
If you know Carter, you know a fun-loving kid that never quits! He is lucky to be supported by awesome parents and an adoring little brother. Carter recently said that he's "living his best life!" This surgery will be difficult, but will hopefully allow him to continue "living his best life" for many years to come. You can learn more about Carter's journey at his Caring Bridge site: https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/cartermunson
Heart transplant surgery means that in the upcoming months, Carter and the Munson family will experience massive uncertainty, putting plans on hold and dealing with Carter's additional medical needs. Once the surgery takes place, they will face significant time in the hospital and more challenges as he starts recovery.
They will see extra expenses for treatment, medications, therapy, medical equipment, dietary supplements, etc., and increased costs associated with travel, lodging, food, childcare for Carter's younger sibling, gas, parking and everything else that comes with living away from home for an extended time. Sarah and Travis will have to take time off of work to care for Carter and spend 90 days post surgery at the Ronald McDonald house in Rochester.
Please consider helping to ease the burden for the Munson family by contributing, so they can focus on the most important thing...caring for Carter. Any additional proceeds will be donated to the Ronald McDonald house.
