Carter Templeton
2020 has been a year none of us expected, specifically for Michelle Harris Templeton.
In October 2020, Michelle received a call that her nephew was being airlifted to UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh after he temporarily stopped breathing. Next, they found multiple fractures in his legs from allegedly "falling off the couch," and after that, his vision was failing due to trauma.
Carter was being physically abused at just 6 months old.
Michelle drove back and forth to Pittsburgh to become the guardian of Carter to keep him out of foster care.
With Carters current medical condition, his doctors appointments are frequent and far away, his supervision is needed around the clock, and Michelle and Nate who have been work from home business owners, have had to pause operations to ensure his safety.
The M Harris Team has set up a registry for Carter, but what would help them even more is to remove any financial worry of pausing their home business while they focus on caring for Carter.
Thank you so much to each and every person who has reached out, supported, and send love to Carter and the Templeton family. The M Harris team has been reading each and everyone and sharing them with Michelle + Nate.
