Christian's Senior Thesis Film

Hi Friends and Family,

The end of my senior year is rapidly approaching, but before I move on to the next stages of my life I'm tasked with the ultimate goal of film school: making a thesis film. After three and a half years of learning how to make a movie, it's finally time to do it! 

The film follows the story of two young, Italian-American brothers living in Los Angeles. With bills piling up and motivation at an all time low, the boys call on their mafioso grandfather in Chicago to get advice on how to become "made men".  It is going to be a comedy that everyone can enjoy. I want to make something that draws on experiences I've had growing up as an italian-american; those are the best films anyway, right?

Not only will I be writing this story, I will also be directing, producing, and editing the film. To bring this story to life I will need to:
- gather a crew
- book locations
- build a set
- cast actors
- rent equipment & props
- feed my crew
- obtain permits
- provide transportation
- submit to film festivals

Each of the above necessities are vital to acheiving my vision, but unfortunately do not come for free. A major part of this project is fundraising and this is where the amazingly generous people in my life play a role. Any amount donated, big or small, is crucial to the success of this project and will be greatly appreciated!
