Carys' Fight
The days we expect to be the biggest of our lives rarely turn out to be. It often tends to be the ordinary ones that become the most monumental. On Oct. 11, 2016 the official call came in that changed our lives forever.
Carys Tomilloso is a 12 year old who works hard in everything she does. She is a phenomenal softball player and cheerleader who practices/plays 7 days a week while excelling academically. When asked why she plays so hard she smiles and says, "Ball is life and I like to cheer."
Carys' whole world came to a sudden halt when the call came in confirming what we had feared. Carys had been diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma.
As Carys begins chemo her parents, Jennifer and Neil, have begun to prepare mentally and financially. Naturally, this will be a long battle calling for excess time away from work. There will be multiple fundraisers held for the family along with Meal Train. We greatly appreciate your help through this fight. #TeamCarys
