Caryssa Joy needs YOUR HELP!

Hello, I am the mother of Caryssa. Caryssa is 32 years old and has PURA syndrome. She is non-verbal, scoliosis which resulted in a spinal fusion with a rod implanted to correct her 78% curve,, seizures, non-verbal, functions mentally between 8-12 months old, no knowledge of danger( moving cars, hot stove, stairs, strangers, falls, slips or falls in bathroom and so on. Caryssa started to ambulate around 5 years old and just last summer we were told her hips are failing her and she will not be able to ambulate any longer. She received an injection of steroids into her one hip to give her some relief however her ability to walk has decreased fast and at a steady pace. We live in a bi-level home and truly need many modifications to continue caring for her in the comfort of her own home with her family. We have very little money to put towards it and really are looking to you for help, so we can start the work to our home to keep Caryssa safe and happy. My husband and myself are battling rheumatoid arthritis which makes it difficult to continue caring for her without the use of railings, gates and an elevator to bring her up and down the stairs. Whatever you can contribute we would greatly appreciate we are praying by spring to start our bathroom renovations, stairs, elevator, railings for her safety and her bedroom and a room that will have all of her equipment for PT to help her continue to keep her muscles from deteriorating from not being able to walk on her legs.
