Cas Ate a Needle

Hello. On Sunday March 30th, my cat Castiel, decided to break into my sewing kit and eat the thread... needle and all. Luckily, I saw it happen. I will never forget looking over and seeing the flash of the metal needle as it dangled from his mouth before disappearing. After a quick game of "catch the cat" I was able to rush him to the ER Vet. They took an X-Ray to confirm my story (I don't think they believed me) and sure enough a sewing needle was sitting pretty in his tummy. $4000 CAD later and a lot of tears on my part the vet managed to get the needle out using a magnet.
