Casa Grande French Class Field Trip to SF!
Donation protected
UPDATE: Thank you to all who donated! Our field trip was a huge success, with a full bus of over 40 students getting to experience a beautiful day in the city, amazing art and artifacts in the museum, and a walk to cafés on Clement Street. We had such a great time that we are hoping to make this an annual tradition! Thank you all again for your support in making this experience available to our students.
This Giving Tuesday, please consider helping fund a field trip for Casa Grande students to visit the Legion of Honor museum in San Francisco. Students will have the opportunity to experience original works by French artists such as Auguste Rodin and Camille Claudel that they have studied in class. We will complete a self-guided tour and scavenger hunt, followed by a picnic lunch or a short walk to a French or Vietnamese cafe on Clement Street. This trip will provide real-world experience of Francophone art and cultures we have studied in class. Funding this trip will help make this experience available to our students, many of whom report never having been to an art museum, or are unaware of the cultural opportunities available at our doorstep. Please consider helping fund the cost of the bus to get us to San Francisco!
