CASA Mackay Street Swags for the Homeless

Hi Everyone

 

I have been speaking with the Team at the Mackay Community Accommodation Support Agency / CASA. They have told me that there is no funding available for Accommodation for people doing it a bit tough In Mackay. 

 

So Mackay needs at least 50 Street Swags at $100 each. So my aim with your support is to raise the $5000 needed for the Street Swags.

 

We are also going to earn it by having a go at the Everesting Challenge here in Mackay on Jan the 8th. This means we need reach an elevation of 8840m  18 laps of Mount Blackwood.

 

Thanks again for your amazing support Mackay assisting each other through a difficult time for many this Christmas Holiday period.

 

I am also hoping to raise some much needed funds for the Real Mates Talk Suicide Prevention Campaign my target is $3840 so that will bring these much needed funds to $8840 the Summit of Everest.

As many of your are aware my Cousin Emma took her life on New Years Eve this year. Suicide continues to be a major issue in Australia and is very alarming in the Mackay Issac and Whitsundays regions.
