Casar's Italy Trip for the Covid Generation
Donation protected
Every year I take 3rd and 4th-year Latin students to Italy after they graduate so that they can walk the very street Cicero walked, stand where Aeneas landed to consult the Sybil, reenact the assassination of Caesar on the very spot it happened. To make the trip accessible to all students, we travel light and cheap, keeping the cost to $2000 for a two-week trip. But this year we have been stymied by the war in Europe which has raised fuel prices to such a level that the airfare is $500 more than usual. Most of my students cannot afford this added expense. Please consider donating to keep their dream alive. And share this site far and wide so these kids can take the trip of a lifetime - and make four years of Latin worth all the work. Thank you.
