Case's Therapy - #casecasebaby

Case is a care free, beautiful little blue-eyed three year old ready to jump into your hearts and make your day! Case has been diagnosed with Autism. As of now, Case is non-verbal.
Case's mommy is a co-worker of mine, and wants her son to go to speech and occupational therapy. Case was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in the summer of 2014 and he also has a sensory processing disorder. He has had eczema since birth and is allergic to eggs and peanuts. He used to eat a lot of foods and talk until he turned 18 months old, then no words or sounds at all. Early intervention started about a year ago with little progress then once he turned 3, he started a pre-school program with the county school system. He attends school two days a week and receives speech therapy which has helped tremendously with social and communication skills, but he is still non-verbal. Summer starts soon, and we are afraid with him not going to therapy while school is out that he may regress.
A little about Case...
Case hates to get his fingernails and toenails cut and we have been turned away for haircuts so now his mommy cuts his hair at home. He is very smart but gets frustrated with not being able to tell anyone what he wants, what is hurting him or what is wrong with him. He loves his Mommy, Daddy, Aunt LaLa and other close family. He loves puzzles, coloring, playing outside, running, swimming, jumping on trampolines, taking baths (but does not like his hair washed) and basically loves any rough play. He's all boy! He will eat any food that is considered junk and gags when you try to give him any food he doesn't want.
This little boy desperately needs additional one on one therapy which is not covered by his mom's or dad's health insurance. Our goal seems high, but this goal would cover exactly one year of therapy. Along with prayer, we hope that this one year of therapy will get him talking, at least a little!
If you would like to give words of advise to Case's parents, or if you would like to see pictures of Case, use hashtag #casecasebaby.
Thank you so much for any help you give, and remember, any donation, even small, helps! We are currently working on getting a T-Shirt designed for Case. Any donation over $50 will receive one free T-Shirt, just let us know how to get it to you.
