Casey’s Cancer Fight

Hi, my name is Stacey, im starting a GoFundMe for my nephew Casey who was recently diagnosed with a rare cancer.

On 11/22 Casey had surgery to remove what was thought to be a benign nerve shealth tumor in his forearm that was causing him pain.

Unfortunately, the pathology report came back showing it was actually a rare synovial sarcoma, (soft tissue cancer). Casey has been completing CT scans and healing his surgical site since surgery. He has a PET scan scheduled next week before starting radiation and a then eventually a 2nd surgery. He has very high anxiety with any medical procedures but doesn’t totally understand his diagnosis entirely, which may be a blessing in disguise. Anyone who has had the pleasure to meet Casey will never forget him, nor will he you. Casey is my sisters first born and her best friend. Casey loves everyone and everyone him. He has touched so many people with his innocence and his love of life. If you know him, you probably love him! He is a true testament of how kind this world should be.

I am asking for you,and everyone you know to keep Casey in your prayers as he’s fight this battle. He does not deserve this!

My sister, Dawn, is the most giving person in the world who would literally give you the shirt of her back. I hope she forgives me for creating this page and asking for help as she never would. She never asks for anything from anyone.

My hope is to raise money to help with medical expenses, lost wages from work (my sister and brother in law Steve will have to miss a substantial amount of work during the next several months) and just help with the stress they are all dealing with during this time.
