Casey Jones medical expenses

Casey was diagnosed with colorectal cancer on February 3, 2021. Through the scans to assess the tumor in her colon, it was discovered that her uterus was full of fibroid tumors. After 6 weeks of daily chemotherapy and radiation, she had a double surgery: the surgeons removed the tumor in her colon and did a complete hysterectomy. Post-surgery, Casey struggled with 6 months of follow-up chemotherapy, her colostomy bag, repeated UTIs, neuropathy in her hands and feet, and numerous hospitalizations.

In early January of 2023 at Casey’s follow-up screening, it was discovered that she once again has cancer, but this time in eight different places in her body. One of the largest tumors is in her chest and she will eventually lose her ability to speak and sing. According to the doctors, her time on Earth is limited, but there is no specific time frame.

Casey Jones has been a pillar in her community for decades. Her love of children, reading education, and sharing the Gospel of Christ has positively impacted everyone that she meets. She has worked for Bank of Commerce, Arvest Bank, Stilwell Memorial Hospital, Cherokee Nation, Stilwell First Baptist Church, Stilwell Public Schools, and most recently, Westville Public Schools.

Casey is unable to continue working as a reading specialist for Westville Schools due to her current health conditions. Her current insurance plan will soon end and most expenses from that point will become out of pocket. We are currently asking for donations to assist her in covering these various expenses, as well as any end-of-life costs, should that be necessary.
